Mark Graham is a contemporary surrealist painter and graphic storyteller. Formerly an award-winning crime writer, Graham incorporates both mystery and storytelling in his paintings, which reflect his diverse interests in psychology, politics, comparative mythology and vintage illustration art. His politically-charged painting has been reviewed in The Washington Post. He has published his illustrations in several journals, most notably World War 3 Illustrated. His commitment to art with transformative and visionary themes gained him a Puffin Foundation grant for emerging artists. When he's not painting he teaches art, art history, and philosophy in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
